During the recent 2020 Pandemic and ensuing self- isolation, I was encouraged by my younger sister, Sheila, to write more Vail Ski Patrol stories, Forest Service stories, and the family journey stories (including dogs) that didn’t make it into my first book, “Don’t Get Too Comfortable” on Amazon. While discussing this idea with some of my friends and family, they too had memorable life stories they wanted to share. The resulting book, “Looking in the Rearview Mirror,” gives witness to stories of extraordinary love and respect, humorous mischief, hopeful change, inspiration, and personal miracles. For those of you who love dogs, snow skiing, living in the mountains, and laying down in Indian Paint Brush alpine meadows these stories are for you. The cover art is a painting of Colorado’s Mount of the Holy Cross by Hali Broncucia. I am also the author of "Don't Get Comfortable" which is the first of a series. I am from Colorado and a descendant of a pioneer Colorado family.
